Why do we run? There are many reasons. We run for our health – to lose weight, lower our blood pressure, and relieve stress. We run to challenge ourselves – to see if we have the strength to go the distance. We run for our personal record – our best time ever. We run to meet new people or join a community. We run for the peaceful solace we find. Most often, the reason we run is for ourselves.
